Green Kilometres Certificate: the first recognition for intermodal freight transportation

Celebrate sustainability!

Everwest Group received the Green Kilometres Certificate during an event at the Lithuanian Railway Museum last week. In the area of intermodal freight transportation, this is the first award given to the Everwest Group.

Our partners, LTG Cargo, measured more than just the number of green kilometers that intermodal freight traveled.

3,352 tonnes – that’s how much CO₂ emissions we saved in 2023. Using a special methodology, LTG Cargo was able to compute the CO2 savings from intermodal freight and determine the amount of CO2 we avoided by shipping intermodal freight by rail as opposed to road transport.
