Friday at the office, filled with children’s smiles and laughter! On 5 July, the space of the Laisvės Ave. office was not only in a pre-festive mood but also an exhibition of children’s drawings was opening with attending authors of the drawings.
The youngest members of the Everwest Group team drew their imaginary vehicles of the future. Some of the children’s drawings recognize the colours of Everwest’s trucks, but they are different – they don’t just drive on the road, swim in the water and fly in the air and through space.
“I’m delighted that employees with children have been actively engaged in the contest, which I admit was born for a practical reason – we’re already thinking about the upcoming holiday season. So the winner’s drawings will become Everwest Group’s festive cards, which will go to customers and partners in the far corners of the world.
I am pleased that the number of drawings submitted to the competition exceeded several dozen, and today we have a large group of creative children who have gathered in the office,” said Agnė Jankienė, Marketing and Communication Manager at Everwest Group, during the exhibition opening.
The contest involved kids, aged from 2.7 to 14 years old. They drew 40 drawings that obtained over 250 votes in total, with Darja’s (9 years old) drawing receiving the highest number of votes – 73. It is worth mentioning that the contest involved children whose parents work in different Everwest Group locations, including Vilnius (Laisvės Ave., Metalo St. and Terminalo St.) and Olaine (Latvia).
At the opening of the exhibition, the children had the opportunity not only to enjoy their work and receive gifts but also to take part in a programme of science experiments, which we believe will further inspire them to take an interest in different subjects and to seek new knowledge.
