Functional and convenient telematics solutions for transport management are essential for streamlining processes, making them convenient to use for both drivers and transport management specialists. Until now, telematics solutions are used in the company to collect, transmit and optimize data. These are huge streams of data that we constantly process. Everwest has been on a digitization path for some time to enable us to quickly adapt to change and innovate in our process management. One such is the new telematics system Fleethand, which will replace the Transics currently in use. The contract with the suppliers has already been signed, the initial phase of project implementation is underway.
„With such dynamics in the markets and in order to maximally meet the expectations of customers, we have to think progressively, constantly think about improving processes. The currently used Transics system no longer meets the desired functionality, nor the application of the functions of innovative tools available on the market, such as artificial intelligence, so we looked for new opportunities. Fleethand is a company founded in Lithuania that convinced us with its innovative solutions and ability to flexibly adapt to the individual needs of our company. We believe that working together we will not only create the most suitable system for today, but also constantly move forward by improving it”, says Pavel Kveten, CEO of Everwest.
Our drivers are the main users of the telematics system. It is one of their main tools when planning routes, transferring data or communicating. The current system is often a source of concern, which greatly complicates their daily work. We aim for the system to be convenient, work correctly, and meet the needs of drivers.
The technical and software differences provided by Fleethand will facilitate the work of drivers and our administrative colleagues. Instead of tablets and phones, drivers will now be able to use only one phone with which they can perform all the necessary functions of data transmission, route tracking, and convenient communication. „Although adaptation will be necessary, it should not cause great difficulties for our drivers. The new program is easy to use, clear to understand, „user-friendly”, and has a language selection function. Later, additional functionality for drivers is planned, so we believe that the flexible solutions of the new Fleethand system will help improve the work experience of drivers in the future as well,” says Paulius Karmaza, Head of Transport Function Support Division at Everwest.

The new system is currently in the integration and testing phase. The first stage of the project was carried out with the involvement of one transport manager and three trucks. Currently, Fleethand already has 20 transport managers and 80 trucks. It is planned to integrate the system for the rest of the park in 2024 at the end of the second quarter.
The integration of Fleethand will be done gradually. After evaluating the processes together with the suppliers, there should be no significant additional concerns when implementing Fleethand into internal systems. To ensure a smooth process, special training is being prepared not only for drivers, but also for service and administration colleagues. Additional support and communication will be provided during integration.
We believe that together with this system we will introduce positive changes in the daily work of drivers and administration. The supplier’s flexible and the most suitable for us solutions and innovative approach will allow us to travel hand in hand with innovations in our field.
