Readiness to Deliver refers to the degree of preparedness a supplier or shipper has to deliver their products in international trade. It involves the ability of the supplier or shipper to meet the delivery requirements specified by the buyer, such as the quantity, quality, packaging, and delivery time. A high level of readiness to deliver is crucial for successful logistics operations. It ensures that products are available and ready for delivery at the agreed-upon time and helps prevent delays and disruptions in the supply chain. Readiness to deliver can also refer to the status of products ready for delivery and shipment, indicating that they have been inspected and approved for transport.
